SHARE proposes criteria for mapping Alpine river ecosystems’ vulnerability to hydropower exploitation: these criteria have been used to produce geographical representations at different scales. Criteria used to define vulnerability profiles and produce related maps are described in this technical report.
Mapping of river vulnerability has been strongly influenced from affordable information availability: a checklist has been set to allow a viable assessment at local scale (see above mentioned link).
